Refund Policy
Effective date: May 3, 2026
We want you to be confident when you upgrade. This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work.
14-day money-back guarantee
If you upgrade to a paid plan and decide it isn’t for you, email support@seoarchitect.app within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund that payment in full. No fine print, no questionnaire. Refunds go back to the original card via Stripe and typically clear in 5–10 business days.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access to all paid features until then, and we do not charge you again. Renewals stop immediately.
Partial periods
Outside the 14-day window, we don’t pro-rate refunds for the unused portion of a billing period. If you cancel mid-month, your access continues to the end of that month and your next renewal won’t happen.
Plan changes
Upgrading mid-cycle is pro-rated automatically by Stripe — you pay the difference for the remainder of the period. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
Failed payments
If a payment fails (e.g., expired card), Stripe will retry up to three times over ~14 days. If it still fails, your account is downgraded to the free tier and your data is preserved. You can update your card in the Billing page at any time to restore the paid plan.
Annual plans & large prepayments
We don’t currently offer annual plans. If we add them later, the 14-day money-back window will apply to the initial annual payment as well; partial-year refunds outside that window will be evaluated case-by-case at our discretion.
How to request a refund
Email support@seoarchitect.app from the email address on your account. Include the workspace name. We typically respond within one business day.
